Thankfully, I am a pretty organised sort of person, so getting to the venue a little early in order to prepare, sending out meeting emails to each member and follow-up phonecalls with the Regional Manager, soon became second nature.
I am also pleased to say that none of our group members resigned while I was a facilitator (phew!), and in fact, we even managed to increase numbers by one!
I guess I can't take all the credit though. The ladies we have in our group are all extremely friendly, exhude confidence, are very good at what they do, and many have reached incredible goals, such as, featuring in magazines, appearing on television, winning awards within their industry, and so on. I also had the help of Bernadette - my wonderful and bubbly assistant - plus, we are fortunate enough to hold our meetings in what I reckon has got to be one of the best and most unique venues in the country (The Lounge).
Congratulations to Sue and Dianne who are taking over the reigns as our new meeting facilitators, and I hope you have as much fun as I did. Remember, if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger.
Oh, and if all else fails - bribe them with chocolate! xx
