While no one can promise top-spot placement, your site will have a much better chance of being seen.

Can you migrate and redesign my existing site without losing Google rankings?

Your site can carefully be migrated using your existing site's URLs, and any set up redirects, to keep your hard-earned rankings intact.

Will you set up my Google Business Profile?

Yes, I can help get your Google Business Profile up and running, which will significantly help nearby customers find you faster.

Ecommerce and Features

Do you build online stores?

Yes!  From simple product listings to full ecommerce setups with payments, shipping, and inventory — I can make your shop ‘live’ and ready to sell.

Can you add a booking calendar and forms?

Definitely.  Whether it’s online bookings or customised forms, these can be integrated seamlessly into your site.  Some apps may incur an extra charge.

Website Ownership and Support

Who owns the website and domain?

You do!

Your new Rocketspark website will be set up with your name and contact details.

If you don't already have a domain name, I can advise on how to set this up.

Do you offer training so I can edit the site myself?

Yes.  I can provide links for easy-to-follow training and instructions.  And if you get stuck, I am always available to help.

How much does hosting and maintenance cost?

Costs depend on your website’s size and requirements.

I’ll help you choose a Rocketspark plan that fits your business and keeps everything running smoothly.

Content and Design

Do you provide copywriting and photography?

I can help with any editing and proofreading of your website copy.

I can find appropriate stock images or put you in touch with a photographer to get professional shots taken for your site.

If you need help from a copywriter or brand designer, I can put you in touch with some great people.

Can you show examples of your work and client results?

Of course!

Process and Payments

I want to get started!  What do you need from me?

Just a few basics: your business goals, who is your ideal client, brand assets like your logo, colours, and preferred fonts, any written content or notes, photographs, product images/product details/product prices (if you are planning an eCommerce site), and any examples of websites you like.

What are your payment terms and guarantees?

You will be required to sign a Service Agreement which also works as confirmation of your intention to proceed.

Final payment is required once your site is launched.

Any ongoing changes and updates will be charged at my standard hourly rate.

Rocketspark’s annual fees and your domain name fee is not included as part of my estimate or hourly rate.

How do you measure website success?

Google Analytics and tracking are set up so you can see exactly how your website is performing.

Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

This depends on what’s best for your project.  For clear, well-defined builds (like a new website with a set number of pages), I’ll usually give you a project estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

Hourly rates work well when the scope isn’t set in stone - for example, if you’re not quite sure what you need yet, if we’re experimenting with design ideas, or if you just want to make site updates or maintenance over time. This way, you only pay for the time actually spent.

Where applicable, many of my clients choose a fixed price for the main build.  After the site has gone 'live', my hourly rate applies for ongoing changes, tweaks, or support after launch. This keeps things simple and flexible.
