There’s nothing quite like the heart-stopping moment when your computer screen freezes, and then fades to black, especially when you’re half way through building a client website.
Every so often, for the past six months or more, my computer and I have been locked in a dramatic little battle. One minute I’d be happily working away, the next I’d be staring at ‘the black screen of death’ wondering if this was finally the end.
As a website designer, my computer is basically my business partner. So, trying to work with a screen that randomly gave up on life every couple of weeks was, character building to say the least!
I became an expert in saving files way more often than usual, and learning how to reboot my computer in a particular order became second nature.
Thankfully, my story has a hero – enter Anton Roche from Fix My PC.
Anton has been the point of contact for all my computer issues for many years. I’ve referred him to family, friends, and clients on numerous occasions.

It’s easy to underestimate how stressful computer problems can be when your entire business relies on technology. So having access to someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful makes such a difference.
