17 & 18 May saw almost 50 Virtual Assistants from all over New Zealand descend on the country's capital city.

Celebrating International Virtual Assistants Day in Wellington, the very best of NZ’s Virtual Assistants got together to network, collaborate, and generally have a great time together.

Wellington hosted the fourth annual get-together, with previous years' events held in Auckland, Christchurch, and Queenstown.

This fantastic event is a chance for VAs to come out of their 'caves' and spend time getting to know each other face-to-face, in a supportive, professional, and relaxed environment.

Sponsored by Thank You Payroll, VA Day 2024 kicked off at the InterContinental Wellington with a delicious High Tea.

Guest speaker, Dr Paul Wood, provided inspiration, laughter, and even a few tears, with his raw, enlightening, and wonderfully compelling talk.

Next stop was dinner down at St Johns Bar and Restaurant on Wellington's waterfront, the perfect place for Virtual Assistants to reunite and celebrate.

The following day, NZ's top VA industry colleagues got together for lunch, a spot of team building at Holey Moley, and dinner at Foxglove Restaurant.

All in all, a hugely successful event, organised by Dollybird VA and the Virtual Assistant Network of New Zealand.
