Case Study

Econohire

Econohire

When Mark Gardiner bought Econohire, the business came with a ready-made website.

He knew he wanted to showcase his new business in the best way possible, which meant the old website needed to go.

When Mark mentioned this to his accountant, she referred him to My Virtual Assistant.

The brief

Mark explained to me that alongside offering a range of professional services, he also hires out equipment, as well as providing a large variety of specialist cleaning products and chemicals.

Being available to service the whole of the North Island is an important benefit to Mark's potential customers.

He emphasised that an eCommerce website was unnecessary at this stage in his business.

Getting started

Mark already had a logo for Econohire and I was able to customise his new website to suit his brand.

Mark sent through a variety of product images, which were cropped and resized as necessary.

Banner images were sourced to tie in with his specialist field of services.

I assisted with editing and proofreading all website copy to help Mark get his message across to potential customers.

The result

A clear, concise, easy-to-navigate website was of high importance to Mark.

A simple, yet effective layout, incorporating trade colours and font styles, were maintained throughout the website and combined to preserve the look and feel of Econohire's existing brand.

Even though the Econohire website isn't a sales site, it was vital that customers could clearly see the large variety of products available.

The new website has the capacity to grow and change with Mark's business, should he decide to add eCommerce capabilites at any time in the future.

A message from Mark

"Marion has been awesome in working with us to create a modernised website.

Nothing has ever been a problem and the site was completed in a timely manner."
