It had been looking rather dated for quite some time and really wasn't a great representation of the kind of work I can do for you. With all the amount of work coming in from clients, meant my own website had to be put on the back burner.
Website layouts have altered quite a bit over the years and modern websites are now exhibiting a contemporary feel; with large images, white space, bold headings and larger, easy to read text.

It offers a friendly, transparent introduction as to who I am, what drives me and outlines ways in which you and I can work together in order to achieve your business goals and grow your business.
The intention is for you to enjoy a positive experience right from the moment you visit the website for the very first time and preserving this experience when you and I are working together.
Of course, things have changed since My Virtual Assistant began back in 2009 and as the years have gone by the focus has shifted slightly. Originally trying to be 'all things to all people', the focus is now mostly on creating affordable websites for startups, small to medium sized businesses and entrepreneurs.
I've worked with, and continue to work with, many loyal clients throughout New Zealand (and overseas) and enjoy the privilege of developing relationships and building rapport with some wonderful business people.
Out with the old, in with the new
My Virtual Assistant’s old website has done a wonderful job throughout its tour of duty and its received many complimentary comments, but as with most things, time marches on and changes must be made in order to evolve the business, remain competitive and keep up with customer requirements.
The website’s main focus is on core services offered by My Virtual Assistant, such as creating new websites, website management and generating corporate newsletters, although that's not all My Virtual Assistant can help you and your business with.

The hourly rate is still the same and the service level hasn't changed. Over the years the promise of friendly, reliable customer service has never waivered and neither has the importance of providing you with reliable business support for things like newsletters, brochure/flyer design, editing/proofreading, social media setup, and more.
